Travis Malizani is a seasoned Aerospace Technology and Education Consultant, bringing specialized expertise in unmanned systems, launch vehicle design, and spacecraft engineering. His work bridges advanced aerospace research with capacity building across Africa’s emerging space sector.

As an Aerospace Engineer, Travis focuses on UAV Control Systems Design, with additional research interests in Launch Vehicle Design, Spacecraft Overall Design, Orbital Dynamics and Control of Spacecraft (Astronautics), and Missile Terminal Guidance Systems Design. This multidisciplinary foundation equips him to contribute across the full spectrum of aerospace engineering—from atmospheric drones to orbital mechanics and beyond.

Prior to his consulting role, Travis served as an Unmanned Aerial Systems Innovation Engineer at the Malawi University of Science and Technology (MUST) Drone Centre of Excellence. There, he developed and deployed drone technologies for applications ranging from humanitarian logistics to agricultural monitoring, while mentoring the next generation of Malawian aerospace innovators.
