Ghana is a strategic SKA partner country within the SAROAD network, focusing on established infrastructure and high-tech human capital. Key highlights include:
• Infrastructure: Hosts the Ghana Radio Observatory and participates in the AVN dish conversion project.
• Upcoming Technology: Scheduled for TART telescope installation (2024–2027) to provide hands-on training for upcoming astronomers.
• Strategic Programs: Functions as a core partner for DARA, equipping youth with STEM skills in radio interferometry and big data, and PAP2SN, which facilitates academic mobility.
• Coordination: National activities are voluntarily overseen by Country Coordinator Proven Emmanuel
