Herman Randriamanantena
Herman Randriamanantena is an MSc student in Astronomy & Astrophysics at the University of Antananarivo, Madagascar, supervised by Dr. Mika Rafieferantsoa. His research focuses on developing Python-based visualization tools to map galaxy density distributions using SIMBA hydrodynamic simulations.
He holds a BSc in Physics & Applications (2019), where he researched radiotherapy applications of radioactive sources. His training includes the DARA radio astronomy program (Madagascar/Ghana), the AGN Populations workshop (UK), and serving as organizing team member for the AXIAN Data Science Hackathon, earning Best Organizers Team across 14 countries.
Technical Focus: Cosmology, Hydrodynamic Simulations, 3D Visualization, Python, Radio Astronomy, Machine Learning.

• Infrastructure: Involved in the AVN (Africa Very Long Baseline Interferometry Network) through ongoing dish conversion projects.
• Strategic Programs: Functions as an active hub for DARA (high-tech STEM skills) and PAP2SN (academic mobility and space science research).
• Technical Training: Equips young scientists with expertise in big data, Python, signal processing, and radio interferometry.
